Christmas to the "Max" . . .

So it was a wonderful Christmas season. During our family get together, my daughter got out her digital SLR and got some awesome shots. This picture of Max, my nephew's youngest son, really struck me. After viewing Greg Joen's blog from EDM, I was inspired to try his approach, slightly modfied. I've always struggled with drawing people, but I like this method and am pleased with the results.

Beautiful drawing. It is so hard to capture a likeness - and you did - or even to get the age right. Kids are tough. Wonderful job.
